Alysse and John's Wedding

Alysse Fisher and John Lorence were married January 3 at the Our Lady of Victory chapel at the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul on one of the coldest, grayest days Minnesota serves up. But Alysse wasn't concerned. She radiated happiness and her singular goal was to "have fun." That she did. After the ceremony the wedding party negotiated the intense traffic around the Xcel Center to stop briefly for a cold sprint through Rice Park. The Christmas lights were beautiful, so we had a chance to capture that magical light. The reception was held at the elegant Semple Mansion in Minneapolis and entertainment by one of the best bands in the Twin Cities: Synergy. A very fun wedding. Tamara and Joe's Wedding

Catching up on the weddings we did at the end of 2008, one of my favorites was Tamara Lessard and Joe Dybas' wedding on November 15. Both live in New York City and came here to get married in Tamara's home state with friends and family. Tamara prepared at the Crown Plaza in a beautiful suite overlooking the Mississippi River. Their private meeting was in the skyway over Cedar Avenue, romantic and isolated. The ceremony was at the downtown St. Paul University Club with the reception in the Ballroom upstairs. AWPJA Award

Oh boy! We have been honored with a first place trophy in the international AWPGA contest! Our photo from Roxy and Brian's wedding was taken on September 7 at the Walker Art Museum as they walked up the steps to the reception.
