Kelly and David

Kelly Knapp and David Backes were in downtown St. Paul with us on November 29 for a fun but freezin' engagement session. They are a great couple inside and out. David was briefly in town for a hockey game - he's a pro player with the St. Louis Blues - and Kelly has just graduated from college with a degree in health science. They were such fun to photograph, with a great attitude despite the single-digit temps outside. Their wedding is June 14 2008 with the ceremony at the Nazareth Chapel at Northwestern College and the reception at the Northland Inn where we did Courtney and Justin Salzl's wedding this year. Did I say they met in kindergarten? That's a long courtship for you. We initially thought it would be fun to find a little classroom where they could have sat across from each other in tiny chairs.
