Peter and Jennifer's Wedding

Peter Schmitt and Jennifer Kelly were married April 26 in Plymouth, with the reception at the Earle Brown Heritage Center in Brooklyn Center. They are a wonderful couple, and it was a pleasure to be a part of their wedding. Nick and I had a blast photographing all the details, and all the family and friends, telling the story of their lives. It occurred to me that what we do is document family values in a way that no one has ever done before for our couples and their families. Our storytelling started with the bride's dressing and finished after the wedding party dance, so we were with them all day. Jennifer and Peter and their families were all so affectionate and kind to each other, and the number of friends at their wedding was testimony that they must be dear friends back to them. Lindy and Ryan

Lindy Zimmerman and Ryan Ash are a classy, fun couple who will be married in Salt Lake City this summer. They are quite the travellers - they met in Las Vegas, had their first date in Salt Lake City, Lindy's home, and decided to be married at Two Harbors at the Split Rock Lighthouse. Both work in finance in the cities. Our engagement session at Nicolette Island took place last Sunday when the weather was perfect. They are a great couple and we wish them a lifetime of happiness. Kristyn and Zach's Wedding

On April 5, Kristyn McHale and Zack Vickman were married in a lovely ceremony at her own home in North Oaks, Minnesota. The ceremony itself was in a grand atrium of their living room. They had to be one of the nicest families I have ever met and we so enjoyed being a part of this amazing day. The reception took place at the Hilton Garden in in downtown St. Paul. I was fortunate to have Verna Pitts as my assistant - she is the owner of Verna Pitts Photography - and she is also a good friend.
