Cruelty-Free Weddings

In nearly 12 years of doing weddings, I have yet to encounter even one couple planning a cruelty-free wedding. Funny, given that It's just as easy to do as a any other wedding, and in the interests of going green, a cruelty-free wedding is about as green as you can get. Here are some tips on clothing, menus, and more, if you want a wedding that involves compassion to all creatures.

Amy and Josh's Wedding

Amy and Josh live in San Jose, California but returned to her childhood home in Blaine for their wedding on May 14. It was a rainy day but their spirits were undaunted and everyone had a wonderful reunion and celebration. Here are some photos from the day.

 

Campbell-Rasley Wedding

Our first wedding of the season! Sarah Campbell married Ryan Rasley at the St. Martin's by the Lake Church in Minnetonka Beach, MN, the same place where her mother married her father, carrying on a family tradition. The weather cooperated and gave them a gorgeous afternoon for a reception at the Minneapolis Club. Theirs was a truly wonderful family and a moving occasion with lots of laughter and tears.
